Utilising Willall Racings extensive experience in tuning European performance platforms, particularly AMG/Mercedes, the Phase I system is designed to be a complete daily driven performance upgrade that installs quickly and easily, unlocking the A45/CLA Performance Potential all without sacrificing durability or driving quality. PHASE 1 SPECIFICATIONS
Phase 1 offers a complete mapped additional computer system for the A45/CLA45/GLA45 that -
- Removes factory 270km/h speed limiter to allow unrestricted running
- Adjusts fuel strategies to match Australian pump 98 and 100 octane fuel
- Fuel strategies are also in place for Euro 98/99 RON and US 93 MON
- Tailors the engine boost curve and response for optimal low end torque production
- Maps engine ignition timing to give improved performance and response on high octane fuels
- Reduction of torque limiters in first and second gear for improved acceleration
- Alters throttle mapping to give superior driveability in traffic situations and eliminate 'dead spots'

PHASE 1 TESTING
Phase 1 has been extensively tested in the field for both durability and performance -
- Four vehicles run parallel testing of Phase 1 in different conditions
- Conventional road testing is undertaken by one of the A45 test cars in daily driven conditions
- Tarmac competition testing has been completed in a motorsport environment by another A45 test car
- Drag strip performance is another discipline being tested by another A45
- Finally there is a dyno testing A45 used to make refinements for the other vehicles which are then uploaded

Hey all. Happy New Year.
There are a few Stage 1 performance upgrades available right now and having tried the excellent Rebellion unit thought I'd have a go with the Willall Racing product.
I had read up on the Willall Phase 1 and the boost to torque really appealed. Before I made the purchase I discussed the product with Martin at Willall. Martin was very very helpful and was more than happy to answer my numerous questions. I have the first unit in the UK. Willall shipped the unit really quickly and I received it after about a week. The product itself is built of very high quality components and is not a unit that plugs into sensor ports but is linked directly to the ecu. It's a very neat fit and comes with main loom connectors and 2 ancillary ecu units. It looked complicated but it came with a clear step by step install guide. I'm no mechanic but it only took approx 10~15 mins to install.
Performance wise...bloody awesome! The extra Nm will launch the 'baby' AMG from 0~62 mph sub 4 sec without race start. This unit is not about 0~62 but 0~100 plus! The car performs easily as well as my last upgraded cars, if not better. Driveability is very good but slip it into s or m mode and the car is blisteringly quick. I had doubts when I first took my new A45 for a spin but now, she's a keeper! I've now been running with the unit for over 2 weeks. There have been no problems or issues apart from the bloody weather in UK although the car is not bad are very wet roads.
In summary, its a great product no actually a fantastic one and worth the extra money and the guys at Willall obviously know there stuff. The Rebellion/MTB unit is also excellent and if you decide to go for a Phase I talk to the supplier and make your decision based on which one makes you feel most confident. Im looking forward to what Willall will rollout next but right now have all the power i need! Have fun and watch out for me in my white aero 45...it'll be me overtaking you!
PHASE 1 REAL WORLD DRIVING

Teamed up with the 4515IS intake system and Caltex Eflex E85 fuel the performance of this system is massive, safe, and everyday driveable.

- Fuel types (98/E85) can be switched on the fly

From the factory the 45 series AMG has an inlet restrictor in place to keep airbox resonance (noise) under legal drive-by emission limits. Willall Racing 4515IS eliminates this factory restrictor gaining power and adding a pleasing induction note.
