WR86 TOYOTA 86/SUBARU BRZ PERFORMANCE PACKAGE

As a simple and effective competition/daily driver package the 86 platform takes a lot of beating. Featuring an excellent base design with a low centre of gravity and good basic geometry the Willall Racing WR86 upgrades the surrounding package without taking anything away from the basic design greatness which makes this car so good in the first place. Rather than trying to double the power and upset the careful balance engineered into the car, WR86 instead enhances the overall package without detracting from it in anyway. That's not to detract from daily driving or indeed full-on competition use.

CIRCUIT DEVELOPMENT

The Toyota version of the 86/BRZ features a strong tendency to roll oversteer at high speed which was one of the first parts of the handling character that was to be dialled out. Without changing spring rates, but by changing rear suspension geometry and a carefully applied program of anti-roll bar development and bushing alterations the stability and handling of the 86 have been transformed. All of this has been achieved without changing the playful nature of the 86 in general driving conditions. High speed handling is now up there with the very best sports coupes around, and this is reflected in the lap times and general performance that WR86 delivers.
